Ground Chicken Burgers

A few posts ago I told you all about grinding chicken to make a less expensive ground meat.  Tonight I tried making ground chicken burgers.  They were absolutely wonderful and received rave reviews from the guys.   You can season the meat the way you would ground beef.  Here is what I did.

1 lb. ground chicken

1 tbsp. original Mrs. Dash seasoning

1/2 tsp. salt

1-2 tbsp. olive oil

Combine the ground chicken with the seasoning and salt, mixing well.  Shape into 4 patties.  Heat olive oil in skillet.  Cook the burgers on both sides until golden brown.  Cover and let cook until juices run clear, about 20 minutes.  Top with lettuce, tomato and cheese, and serve on burger buns!
