This past holiday season I purchased a delicious spiral ham which I served for our Christmas buffet. Not being one to let anything go to waste, I frozen the bone with some meat still on it. I got it out today to make a soup for our supper on this rather cold January day.
Unfortunately, I’ve never made a ham soup before, but I knew that there had to be recipes available to make a great soup. I found this recipe while searching the web this afternoon. It sounds fantastic, and I can’t wait to make it this afternoon! Oh, and the bones won’t be wasted either! Our two Shelties will be happy to have something new to chew!
